Helen Rennie: Integrative Transpersonal Psychotherapeutic Counselling. Art Psychotherapy.
Registered : BACP , Health Care Professions Council and Complementary Therapists Association
My therapy and counselling journey over 30 years has taken me into a variety of settings, including the NHS, social services, elderly and continuing care, adult mental health, adult education, community sector and presently private practice.
The integrative approach allows for different lenses with which to work. I work principally from a psychodynamic base, believing that early experiences influence our adult lives, either facilitating or holding us back from our goals in life, or making the soul’s journey harder to make. I also work through art and creativity in its many forms, which can provide alternative and valuable forms of expression at times when words are hard to find or seem inadequate for expressing our meaning or emotions.
Marcela Rothera Yassine is a dedicated therapist with 15 years of experience in supporting adults through life’s challenges.

Marcela has worked at RCPS since 2010, offering compassionate guidance to those in need, while maintaining a small private practice focused on empowering individuals to achieve emotional well-being.

- find new perspectives and increase self-compassion.
- take back positive control of their life.
Peter Upton: You may have reached a point where you are looking for greater stability and clarity in your life and your relationships.
I am interested in everything about you that sheds light on your problems and how you might cope better. My job is to bring your awareness to all of who you are so you can start living spontaneously, through creativity, rather than habit.
I hope to breathe fresh life into your outdated narratives and turn dramatic life moments into important opportunities for meaning-making and personal growth.
My approach is based on Integrative and Gestalt therapeutic modalities with a strong focus on integrating body, mind and relationality. I pay attention to diversity and power, to support my clients in becoming aware and familiar with their identities.
Christina Fisher: is in training at the University of Roehampton on the MA Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy, which combines different therapeutic ways of working. She has a particular interest in the effect of trauma on relationships, both with others and with ourselves. She believes in the importance of the relationship between therapist and client, and creating a safe, collaborative space to explore what has brought you to therapy, at a pace that is comfortable for you.
Alongside her placement at RCPS she volunteers at the Samaritans. She is also involved in training new listening volunteers for the branch and in prisons.
Before starting training as a psychotherapist, she completed a master’s degree in psychology which began her interest in the development of relationships and autonomy. This led her to mentor young people with the Julian Campbell Foundation. Prior to this she had a 15 year career building software.
Gai Simmons: I am an integrative counsellor, dedicated to providing personalised support that considers your unique needs. I offer a safe, supportive, non-judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace.
While I specialise in bereavement counselling, my practice also includes working with a wide range of issues such as anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, identity, like transitions and relationship challenges. I am here to walk alongside you.
My approach draws from person-centred, psychodynamic, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). I have trained with Cruse Bereavement Support, Refugee Action and RCPS, deepening my ability to support people from diverse backgrounds and with complex experiences. I aim to help you move towards clarity, resilience and positive change. Member of the BACP.
